The napa valley cabernet sauvignon is a nuanced wine that illustrates the results of cool, gradual ripening and a deft balance of varietal components. It has a dark garnet color and a complex nose of boysenberry, truffles, wild game, soy, and black pepper. Food and ambience
Lovely balance. Firms up nicely on the finish, where the tannins have just the right touch of grip. Enticingly fresh, fruit-forward aromas of black currant, blackberry and boysenberry, joined by seductive chocolate and roast coffee scents. Beautifully structured on the palate, it boasts intense, concentrated, dark berry and cassis flavors balanced by supple, well-knit tannins and a long, flavorful finish with fine acidity and savory mocha tones.
Broad black currant fruit flavors intermixed with some spice box, crushed rock, and spring flowers. It is characteristic of stags leap in its elegance and finesse.
