I don't need anything fancy but I do want something that will compile all the images into a single PDF document for me. Thanks in advance! Johny, try this IQBoxy app. It's quite simple to use, with no bells and whistles. Hope thats helps! Capture receipt, turns in to a digital copy, stores the paper receipt, export in to Excel, csv, PDF with everything categorised etc.

Many of my receipts are long and linear. They are not German Mail System receipts, that are 2" x 2" or 5 cm x 5 cm I dont see a system that can scan these type of receipts and taking pictures of a 2 ft receipt appears of little value. Do you know of a system that can accommodate this type of receipt and file it under the vendors name?

I'm using Zoho Books for accounting and there's an Android widget to create expenses and take a photo, which stores in your documents in your Zoho Books account. I like ReceiptShed as it's also great for invoicing and recording job location - so now I don't have an excuse for forgetting where I've been working. Is there a current app smart enough for gas receipts to be read and store numbers on it when provided for gallons purchased?

The article is a great help, I have been putting this off for too long. I would like to gather all my data to MS Access as well, but that is a different path. I am looking for something that can scan the reciept and pull out the vendor name autoname the file and let me have a default folder in google drive to drop it to. Seen anything that can do that? Something quick like that so I can store and retrieve the reciept fast.

Why not try foreceipt app? Check it out here: I've tried foreceipt but ended up settling on the Shoeboxed app. They human verify the info pulled off receipts and also categorize them which is nice. Well if you do not mind to pay extra money! BTW you have to verify your receipts no matter using any solution. I literally went to their site, was super excited about what they do, but then found out it isn't in the Play Store only the App Store.

I've been looking for Receiptmate and sadly it is not available in the US app store: So sad, it looked like the best one by far. Any suggestions to get it or another that would be comparable that's not on this list?

Thankyou for writing this article. I have downloaded offlice lens based on your recommendation and it's a saviour: I just tried downloading receiptmate, but Apple says it's not available. I have accounts in both the USA store and the Canadian store, and it is not available in either.

Bummer, as I was looking forward to using a true receipt app that connects with Evernote. I have been using Office Lens. It's the best! It works like EverNote, in that my scans are saved to OneNote. I highly recommend this app! Top Deals.
